I knew it could be done differently.

I’ve spent years working inside large financial services organizations — including as a financial advisor at one of the largest registered investment advisors (RIAs), managing over $200 million in client relationships — and kept seeing the same thing: people facing important financial decisions without fully understanding their options.

In most financial services firms, comprehensive discussions of conflicts of interest, incentive structures, and client education get passed over. I wanted to build something where they didn’t.

So I started Pocket Retirement Planning, a practice built around education and integrity, where the goal is for you to fully understand every decision in front of you, not wonder whether a better option existed.

I’m an independent insurance professional licensed in over 20 states, and I specialize in retirement income planning, annuities, and life insurance. Throughout my 20-year career I’ve worked in client service roles — not sales. That distinction matters, and it runs through everything I do for my clients.
